This gal has created a series / playlist of different drawing prompts from her book. Use one (or multiple!) prompts from her list.

Practice your shading skills with ink pen and with a wide variety of strokes (techniques). Many are techniques I did not introduce to you in class!

Sculpting / Crafting
Drop the finished "stick bomb" for an exciting explosion! There won't be a final product to show Mrs. K. if you're choosing this activity. You'll have to take a video of yourself as you create and explode your "stick bombs" in order to get credit for your work.
|
Loads of possibilities! Get creative with the techniques shown to make a sculpture you're happy with. Experiment also with different colors and different types of paper.
|
Sculpt with little pieces of tin foil. Use scotch tape to attach everything together. Use paper clips to help make things more sturdy if you need support inside your sculpture. Make what you'd like - here's a t-rex idea to get you started!
|
Carve something out of a bar of soap! The person in a video uses ceramic carving tools, but you could also use a butter knife, a spoon, or popsicle sticks for carving.
You could also carve out of wax, if you have any thick candles that aren't in jars. |
Paper Arts
Below you'll find my step-by-step videos for creating a Triangular Ball
|
A fancy paper snowflake!
Start with a small section - layer the same set of cuts and folds multiple times on the same paper to get the large and impressive 3D folded paper you see here. Under the video there is a template you can download and print, if you would like!
Make your own beads! Use a variety of paper - you'll need a spot of glue for each bead, too.
